Turned his frown upside down

About a week went by, and Oci came out of heat. She stopped walking around on her toes like she was being possessed. We could finally let both of the cats free again. Oscar was happy that he could be let out now. He was going to do everything in his power to get Oci to like him, now that he knew for sure that she was a girl. He stopped biting her and started following her around instead. He learned how to meow incredibly loudly in the week he was separated from society. He ended up reaching his paws under the door and scratching them so Jake made us stick him in the basement. He thought following Oci and meowing so would win her over. It did not, and she still hated him. Oscar was much more of a cuddly cat than Oci was. My niece loved Oscar with her whole heart. She could pick him up from any part of his body and he would never scratch her. His neck, his tail, his left arm, literally anywhere. He would just walk on his hind legs and follow her around. Oci would never do that. She runs away from her once she gets in a three foot diameter of her. Oscar loved the attention. Amelia would run back and forth through the house and Oscar would follow her. Oscar was finally starting to become like a pet instead of a kitten we just got. He was probably six or seven months old at this point and he could reach on top of the kitchen counters. He was getting huge. The little trash cat I didn’t even want ended up being kind of cool. He really liked Doritos. Only the nacho cheese kind and the cool ranch. He liked salt and vinegar chips too, which was crazy for a cat. He didn’t like barbeque chips, but he loved barbeque chicken. He would beg like a dog at dinner, it was cute. He had puss and boot eyes. Big ole’ circles that glossed over, I’ll add a picture eventually. Oscar started sleeping with me every night. He would meow so loud at my door if I didn’t let him in at night. He started sleeping on my stomach, and then he started sleeping on my chest. He got to be very big very fast, so sometimes it was a bit overwhelming.
